MacOS Sierra set to release on the 20th this month !

Apple recently went all guns blazing with the unveiling of its iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus along with its Apple Watch Series 2 in its September 7 event.

But there was no word about a new and a much awaited Mac, but yes it did give a release date to the new member of its MacOS family, Sierra. And the date is the 20th of September.

The update to its MacBook Operating System the MacOS, first released with a public beta on the 7th of July earlier this year, brought Apple’s voice assistant Siri to the MacBook for the very first time since its launch, back in 2011.


Since July a number of updates have been given out to the beta release of the OS to the users who signed up for the Beta Programme. Now it’s ready for its final stable release.

Further it’s announced that the following devices will be compatible:

  • MacBook of & after the late 2009 version
  • MacBook Air of & after the late 2010 version
  • MacBook Pro of & after the mid 2010 version
  • Mac Pro of & after the mid 2010 version
  • iMac of & after the late 2009 version
  • Mac Mini of & after the mid 2010 version

So make sure, you have one of those devices 😉 to get Siri and a bunch of other features which include the Picture-In-Picture mode, a Universal Clipboard for iOS devices to name a few that are added in the OS’s latest installment.

Mark the date to get the update ! 20th September Sierra says I’m Coming !!!
